Located in Sao Manuel – in the state of Sao Paulo – the Headquarters of APJ Group produces, sells and distributes high-quality products (SOCO). This all began in 1938, when Antonio Pedro José and Miguel Pedro José who were Sugar marketers came from the city of Piracicaba (also in São Paulo state) to Sao Manuel. They used to buy sugar from the local mills and then sell it on their own truck, here in Sao Manuel.

Years later, Michael was off the business and Antonio Pedro Jose continued running it and  has been doing an excellent work since then. In 1965, Antonio’s children Hélio José, Herval Jose and Helvio Jose joined the company and then, in 1979, they created the Herval Jose & Cia Ltda (Sugar & Coffee Soco), which recently became APJ Group. Antonio and his sons started to develop better strategies concerning the overall context of enterprising and business, from the delivery of the product to possible suggestions or criticisms coming from the clients.

In the 80’s, the Jose family became coffee producers and, in 1999, the family started to expand its business roasting coffee as well. Since then, the so called APJ Group has been focusing on improving more and more both the quality of its products and the efficiency of its transportation.

The APJ Group already supplies different products to many locations throughout Brazil, and now, it has shifted its focus to the international market.
