The Longding Tea is produced in Kaihua,the Golden Triangle area of Chinese green tea and the headstream of Qianjiang River.Kaihua is located in the junction of Zhejiang,Anhui,Jiangxi,and seven counties of Westerm Zhejiang.
Entitled as the Chinese Amazon rain forest,Kaihua is one of the National Zoology Demonstration Zones. With more than 80% forest coverage, the county is characterized with high mountains and flourishing trees. This area is full of fog when sunny, and cloud when rainy. Such particular natural environment makes the local tea high quality.
The Kaihua Longding Tea is made of single leaf or the fresh leaf from one bod one leaf. After the processing with exquisite techniques, the tea is of forceful shape, green color, faint scent,and sweet taste.The tea is also famous for its three greens:green dried tea leaves, green boiled water with tea leaves, green tea leaves in boiled water.As early as the Chongzhen Regime in Ming Dynasty (A.D.1631), the Longding Tea was already listed in the articles of tribute for the emperor.
