Cucumber is produced in Daegok export complex of Jinju-si and Bongsu export complex of Uiryeong-gun.
In 1995, the amount of export was 1.269 million dollars and in 2002 reached 4.504 million dollars, accomplishing 350% increase. In Japanese market, cucumber is getting popular and its export is on the rise.
