The extra-virgin "Dell'Orto" D.O.P. Colline Salernitane olive oil is a product obtained from a single selection of olives cultivated in the homonymous farm extended over 8 hectares. It is located about 60 Km. From Salerno on the hills that surround the gorgeous scenery of the Sele river valley, crossroads for the Greek and Phoenician populations in the past, which made the local people know this wonderful plant. The resulting production is almost exclusively from the grinding of olives of the "Carpellese" variety, an ecotype that has always been cultivated in this area and from a 20% of olives of the "Frantoio" variety
