For common vegetable oil refinery plant, If you want to get the pure and refined oil, four main process in oil refinery plant will be necessary: degumming, deacidification, decolorization, and deodorization. But for the palm oil refinery plant, we designed the Dry-degumming process Full Continuous Refining method.
Continuous decolorization&filtering process:
The newly complete continuous decolorization section uses two alternate filters. The mixing oil and earth flow into the vacuum decolorization tower. The deodorized oil is pumped through the alternate filters. The valves are automatic switched. Filtered oil is pumped into deodorization section after safety filters.
Continuous deodorization process:
After heat exchange, the oil is heated again by conductive oil before deodorization system. Before deodorizer, the heated oil needs to pass through sieve-plate columns, which is specially designed to remove large amount of fatty acid.
Deodorized oil needs deep deacidification and deodorization. After passing through alternate security filter, the deodorized oil is cooled to storage temperature with cooling water.
Fractionation:
The palm oil fractionation process involves two main steps: crystallization and filtration. During crystallization, the palm oil’s triglycerides melt at different temperatures, fractioning the oil into liquid and solid components. The character of the crystals produced depends on the temperature, time and agitation used during the process. The fractioned palm oil then passes through a filtration process, dividing the oil into liquid palm olein and solid palm stearin components.
