Product Description: Fruit of a particular beauty, ovoid form, thick skin with thorns taken away after the harvest. In Ecuador there are 3 varieties that are slightly different in its shape with some of its protuberances higher than others; inside the meat is white and its seeds are black mixed within it, giving a pleasant appearance.
Size: It ranges from 5 to 13 cm long approximately, and the weight per fruit goes from 130 to 450 gr. depending on the variety.
Color: It changes from green at the stage when is not ripe, reaching an intense yellow when fully ripped.
Ideal color to serve: Yellow with green ends or totally yellow.
Life Time: 7 to 10 days after arrival, depending on the stage of ripeness upon arrival.
