Sweetened dried tart cherries with oil are produced from frozen pitted Montmorency red tart cherries.  The sweetened cherries are thawed and infused in a sugar solution until a specified Brix level is reached.  They are then dried to the specified moisture level, lightly sprayed with oil, inspected, and packaged.  All dried fruit products are processed and packaged in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, including metal detection.
