Specifications: Estacion wines are estate-grown in the heart of the colchagua valley, to be honored by the wine enthusiast magazine 2005 wine star awards as wine region of the year and perhaps the best denomination of origin (d. O) in Chile for red wines. Most of the highest rated wines from Chile are from this region. Estacion is a collection of four varietals wines: Cabernet sauvignon, merlot, carmenere and syrah, all at incredibly reasonable FOB prices, absolutely competitive with other chilean wineries. The grapes used in our estacion wines are hand picked from our own estate vineyards, originally planted in 1996. Our vineyard has warm climate and its dry summers allow the grapes to mature slowly, creating wines of fruity character. Estacion traditional oenology seeks to highlight the best of what chilean wines can offer, using state-of-the-art infrastructure to preserve the aromas and flavors of each grape variety
