EXTRA NEUTRAL POTABLE ETHANOL
Description: A pure natural alcohol derived from sugar cane. Material appearance is clear, colourless, and free from suspended matter. Ethanol is a clear, colourless, flammable liquid, which is produced by the fermentation and distillation of sugar cane molasses, a by-product of the sugar industry. The first stage of the fermentation process is the use of saccharomyces yeast to produce a low alcoholic strength 'beer'. The resulting product is then concentrated and purified through various continuous distillation columns to produce a range of ethanol products of different strengths and qualities.
These varying grades of ethanol are important raw materials in the manufacture of alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and toiletries, flavours, essences and vinegar.
