Characteristics: Mengshan Tea was presented to royal family as tribute from Tang Dynasty to the end of Qing Dynasty in succession. It's the unique tribute tea which had lasted 1169 years. Mengshan Gan Lu tea is elaborately produced with fresh tender even tea buds picked from Mengshan Mountain. Its process is: Three baking steps, three rolling steps, shaping and drying. The finished product tea buds are tight, wiry and tippy, and are tender green and bloom in color. The color of tea is tender green and bright; Its aroma is high and pleasant; Its flavor is mellow, sweet and fresh. Two intentions of naming this tea as Gan Lu: One is to commemorate Wu Lizhen, the Tea Ancestor of Mengshan Mountain, because Gan Lu means "memorizing the master" in Sanskrit; The Second is that this tea is sweet, fragrant and just like sweet dew (Gan Lu means sweet dew in Chinese).
