Product Description
Citric Acid is a main food additives which is mainly used in candy, jelly, cake and pickle fields. There are two types including
the citric acid monohydrate and citric acid anhydrous types.
application
1) In Food Industry: About 50% used in beverages & 20% in other food applications.
- An acidity regulator.
- A flavor enhancer and sequestering agent in processed food and beverages.
- A synergist in antioxidant mixtures.
- A preservative.
2) Detergents: Around 20% of global citric acid production goes in detergents applications.

3) Other Applications: About 10%
- Cosmetics.
- Pharmaceutical preparations especially effervescent tablets.
