The BLENDER’S RESERVE is made from carefully selected whiskies from across Scotland, embodying her very heart and soul in a blend known only to our Master Blender (and one other - just in case!)

On the nose one can detect the peat influences from the distilleries of Islay and the west coast together with the steely dryness from the distilleries of the Northern Highlands combining with the sweet and floral high notes from the distilleries of the Speyside region together with the gentle smoothness from the Lowlands and the obvious quality of the aged grain.

On the palate, the BLENDER’S RESERVE is a smooth, warm, complex fulsome Scotch – a moment to savour – with a long, pleasing and smooth finish.

Winner of the SILVER MEDAL at the San Francisco WORLD SPIRITS COMPETITION

Rated at 88.5% by JIM MURRAY in his 2012 Whisky BIBLE (5 points higher than CHIVAS REGAL TM )  Jim Murray was kind enough to describe it ..." Any British school kid dating back to WW2 will recognise the "Fruit Salad" sweet signa ture on this. Soft, delicate and evocative and no less fruit on the delivery as the salivating citrus makes way for a spicier, oilier middle, thins out as the grain and Vanilla set up camp; an entirely enjoyable blend which is clean and boasting decent complexity and weight."

Described by Martine Nouet in Whisky Magazine as;

Nose - Rich and buttery, butterscotch, greengage jam. Elegant grain note. Sweet, with a good integration of wood and oak. Some depth

Palate - Round, appetising, toffee, salted butter caramel, hint of marzipan, some fruit too. oranges with a pinch of cinnamon.

Finish - Warm, creamy, slightly nutty.

Comments - Appetising, pudding-like but not oversweet. Well balanced. To enjoy with a Dundee cake.
