Grade A geoduck is the highest quality. It is very white in color; similar to that of a pearl. Grade A geoduck always has a very thin shell.
Grade B geoduck is light brown in color and has a thin shell.
Grade C geoduck is brown in color and has a relatively thick shell.
Grade D geoduck is dark brown or black in color and has a very thick shell.
