Silac s.r.l.
Silac is a modern industrial structure situated behind the southern hills of the Gargano, it was established at the end of the 1950's by some smallholders, who had been breeding dairy stock for generations, in order to exploit the cow's and buffalo's milk produced in the Foggia Plains. The rational layout of the plant allows 1500 Hl of milk to be processed every day; strict control carried out in the company laboratories guarantees high organoleptic and bacteriologic standards - the HACCP (HAZARD ANALYSIS and CRITICAL CONTROL POINT) method has been adopted. The plant has been restructured with modern technology and with attention to hygiene, respecting EEC standards. Indeed on February 9, 1994, SILAC was the first company in the sector in Puglia to obtain the EEC identification number. The company is currently under the control of certification authority UNI EN ISO 9002.
Products
Our fresh and genuine milk is the result of the care and attention that Silac has been offering its customers for decades. By scrupulously pursuing its courageous choice of exploiting local products, Silac purchases exclusively fresh milk from the National Park of the Gargano and the Murgia hills, being supplied directly thanks to consolidated relations with local breeders.
