cantaloupe pulp cut into dice or cube shapes are derived from the processing of sound, mature, fully ripe MELON fruits. The fruits are delivered ripe and are sorted to remove pieces that have bruises, cracked rinds, sunburn and that are shriveling and other surface defects. Only good quality raw materials are accepted. Cantaloupe fruits are washed, cut, peeled, scooped out the seeds, sliced into pieces of desired thickness, frozen (IQF Cryogenic) and packed in laminated polyethylene bags. Each pack passes through metal detection equipment before being filled into cartons.
