Corn also known as Maize, is a large grain plant first domesticated by indigenous peoples in southern Mexico about many years ago. Corn is grown everywhere in Vietnam from plain to midland and quite a lot in the mountains.
There are many types of corn, often classified by both properties and functions such as: sticky corn (white seed, soft grain), mainly for eating; plain (white or yellow seed), hard but productive, should be used as animal feed. Besides, sugar corn (irregular yellow seeds), sweet taste and vegetable corn (small, low-starch) used to eat.
