Dragon Fruit is the new super fruit!
Nicaragua's pithaya, or dragon fruit as it is commonly known in North America, is highly sought after for its high antioxidant properties. It is deeper in color and more nutritious than pitahaya from anywhere else in the world.
We process dragon fruit and package it how our clients see fit. Most commonly we package in 25 lb bags or 14 oz. private label bags ready for the super market. It is very popular in ethnic super markets. It is mixed with water, some sugar and sometimes a little bit of lime to taste to make a wonderful refreshing drink. Pitahaya Juice is a delicacy as its harvest is very short.
