Pizhou is one of the five major ginkgoes bases of the whole country, its scale occupies the first place in five major ginkgoes base. There are gardens in blocks of ginkgo now 23333.333 hectares, it is the biggest garden in blocks of ginkgo in the world. Pizhou was named " specially excellent economic forest of China's first batch of names " by the country in 2000 --Township of the ginkgo ". In 2002, were named " the Forest Park of provincial ginkgo " by Jiangsu Province. Named " Review Garden of national-level ginkgo " by State Forestry Bureau on April 12 , 2004.
