FRUIT PULP
PULPA is the edible part of the fruits or the product obtained from the separation of the fleshy edible parts of these by suitable technological processes. In addition, it is the pasty product, undiluted, neither concentrated nor fermented, obtained by the disintegration and sieving of the edible fraction of fresh, ripe and clean fresh fruits.
During the process of the pulps different techniques are used, among which the freezing is emphasized; Fruit pulp has advantages over fresh fruits and other types of preserves.
The frozen pulp allows to preserve the aroma, the color and the flavor.
nutrient characteristics in the freezing process vary on a smaller scale with respect to other conservation systems.
this is considered the raw material base in any product that needs fruit. (Jam, nectar, concentrated juices).
Freezing allows preserving fruit for up to one year.
Losses are avoided by caution and poor selection of fruits.
pulps act as regulators of fruit supplies, because they are processed at harvest times to be used when there is little availability.
