Assodaunia S.C.aR.L.
Assodaunia was established in 1988 and was recognised firstly in 1989 as an Association of Producers and then in 1997 as an OP. In April 2001 a Societ¨¤ Cooperativa a.r.l. was established. It has member base represented by both cooperatives of producers and by individual farmers, who operate above all on the territory in the province of Foggia but also in other areas of Puglia and other bordering regions. The main production consists of industrial tomatoes and vegetables for fresh consumption like broccoli, cauliflowers, fennel and many other autumn-winter vegetables, as well as fresh tomatoes.
Products
Before the end of the production cycle of the various vegetable species, samples are taken from parts of the plants to be marketed in order to carry out chemical analysis for controlling the presence of any plant chemicals and nitrates. The choice of the vegetable harvesting time is very important for obtaining better product quality.
