Besides the characteristic southern rye Bread varieties, Brabant and Limburg, Bolletje has also several other lighter rye bread varieties that were developed specially for people in the rest of the Netherlands who like leavened bread: Full Rye and Country Schinken. The Full Rye is sliced thinly and has a full rye flavour. Both varieties are packed in resealable bags.
