Application: used as an acidulant, acidity regulator, acidifier, thermal-oxidative resists auxiliary, curing accelerant and spice; used to produce alexipharmic sodium dimercaptosuccinate and ferrous fumarate. Fumaric acid is also used in manufacturing unsaturated polyester resin.
