The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is absolutely unique in the Italian gastronomic tradition. It is obtained from grape must grown in specific areas of Italy, cooked in open vats over an open fire, and then placed in barrels made of precious woods. It is then aged according to the traditional methods. After many years in wood, the vinegar achieves a perfect balance of fragrance and flavour and is designated with the DOP authenticated trademark (Denomination of Origin). This precious vinegar is then bottles in unique 100 ml bottles and packed individually in elegant boxes, containing a booklet with product information. The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is available in both a White Cap and ?Extra-Vecchio Gold Cap, each with its own harmonic and balanced flavour, suited for many recipes, and even sipped as a liqueur.
