Golden Cross is an unpressed and unpasteurised Goats Cheese log with a white mould rind, under which is a dusting of charcoal. The cheese has a fine silky texture, and a moderately strong flavour. It is ideal eaten simply with a glass of Sancerre, or grilled with a lambs lettuce salad and honey. Originally on the Saint Maure recipe this cheese comes in a 'Log shape' and is around 5 inches long, giving a firm but creamy texture and a mild to medium mellow flavour.This comes comes as a full log and weighs 225g. £8.40
