Congo: This exceptional Arabica coffee is grown on former colonial run plantations that are situated on a small peninsula on the northwest shore of Lake Kivu. The climatic conditions, rich volcanic soil together with carefully selected varieties of coffee trees (Blue Mountain and Bourbon) produce a robust, full – bodied, strong coffee with an intense aroma. Malongo has established a partnership with a cooperative which is supporting the local growers from this region.
