Laos: Known as the “Source of Lao coffee”, the Bolaven Plateau enjoys geo climatic conditions that are quite unique in the world. For more than a century this area has been producing exceptional high-altitude coffees, carefully harvested and processed using the wet process. Since 2009 these coffees have been certified fair-trade and organic.This full- bodied coffee with its lingering taste has a rich smooth chocolaty flavour. A partnership between Malongo and local small growers has helped them promote their product.
