We would like to introduce you the treasure of Czech tradition – Original Fruit BRANDY. The Czech Republic is situated in middle of the Europe and as a traditional heart of this continent protects some of the oldest traditions in the world. Production of fruit spirits is a traditional way of handling the fruit in Bohemia and Moravia. In northern Moravia there is mainly the production of apple and plum brandy, because there were good conditions for the production, in particular the lack of quality another fruit. Thanks to the peculiar climatic and soil conditions throughout the area in the past Ullersdorf was nicknamed "North Moravia Fruit Chamber."
Ullersdorf distillery mill is connected directly to the tradition already defunct manufacturers of fruit spirits and liqueurs in Vikyrovice by Joseph Schreiber and by Joseph Just in Sumperk. The current distillery is located on the premises of the mill at Great Ullersdorf. This is one of the oldest mills in region and the first mention of it is from the mid-16th century. After the mill ceased in 1980 the conditions were met and its operation was restored. In 2004 began the processing of fruits, namely the production of fruit liqueurs and cider.
Our noble spirits are made of 100% fruit from local production. herbs for the production of liqueurs are still imported from growers in other regions of around 50% but in the near future we want to grow our own herbs for the production of liqueurs. It should rise to 90% self-sufficiency. Fruit spirits are from the intake of fruit, despite its crushing, fermentation, to burning, ageing and packaging made entirely by hand. They are of course also used some simple electrical devices, but dominated by traditional manual labour. For the production of liqueurs these devices are not even used and from processing plants, through maceration, filter, adjustment is used only manual work.
Spirits are then outstanding for their composition - it is 100% fruit quality liquors without the addition of industrial made alcohol, 52% of natural fruit alcohol, its distinctive features as a result of the fruits of local resources and our unique three-chamber through the distillation column. Great attention is paid to the ageing and maturation of spirits, which is done with the latest methods of ultrasonic cleaning, but also by traditional methods like ageing in oak barrels. For Ullersdorf liquor, this is made according to an original recipe there is no need to talk about uniqueness. Completely original packaging is where the tradition is, now the disused types of bottles, caps, natural wood labels from handmade paper adn with manual sealing to create a traditional archaic-looking. This all together makes the original design of our products.
Regular consumption of these noble spirits or spirits with the addition of herbs with very beneficial effects on the body and it can be called The Bohemian Tradition. A small amount of fruit alcohol in the morning stimulates digestion and creates a good mood, blood pressure and blood lipid status. Small evening sip promotes peaceful sleep. Commonly known as digestive and antiseptic properties of fruit spirits and their positive effect on the circulatory system.
