Ground Turmeric (Alleppey & Madras) is made from the clean and dried rhizomes of the plant Curcuma Longa. The product is a yellow to orange-yellow powder with a spicy aroma and a bitter pungent flavour. The granulation and curcumin content can be varied according to the required specification . Sterilisation can be done at the option of the customer.
The plant is equipped with a unique system that yields high quality ground product while maintaining levels of volatile oils and active ingredients indigenous to the respective spices. Rare earth magnets at various points in the processing line ensures a metal-free product. These products can be supplied in compliance with the cleanliness specifications of ASTA, USFDA, UK Food Safety Act and EU regulations.
