Guar Gum is mainly used as a Natural thickener, Emulsifier, Stabiliser, Binding & Gelling agent, Soil Stabiliser, Flocculant.

We are a exporter & supplier of Guar Seeds, Guar Gum Powder (Industrial Grade and Food Grade), Guar Churi, Guar Korma, Guar Refind Splits, Guar Meal.

Guar Gum is an important ingredient in producing food emulsifier, food additive, food thickener and other guargum products. Guar gum is extracted from the seed of Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, an annual leguminous plant.

Guar Gum Powder is extracted from the Guar Seed after a multistage industrial process. The most important property of Guar Gum is its ability to hydrate rapidly in cold water to attain uniform and very high viscosity at relatively low concentrations. Its colloidal nature gives excellent thickening to the solution.

Guar Gum, either modified or unmodified is a very versatile and efficient natural polymer covering a number of applications in various industries like food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paper, textile, construction, oil & gas well drilling, mining etc, due to its cost effective emulsifying, binding and thickening properties.

Guar gum being a Natural Polymer is used everywhere and in almost everything.

Guar is  also called guaran , is a  Galactomannan.

It is typically produced as a free flowing, pale, off-white colored, coarse to fine ground powder. It is available in form of :

  •   Guar Seed
  •   Guar Gum Powder
  •   Guar Refined Split
  •   Guar Churi Meal
  •   Guar Korma Meal

Product Applications:

Guar Gum Powder available in FOOD GRADE AND INDUSTRIAL GRADE and TECHNICAL GRADE in different mesh size like 100 mesh, 200 mesh, 300 mesh and 400 mesh as per following different applications.

  • Guar gum is used in dressings, sauces, milk products, and baking mixes as it has almost 8 times the thickening power as cornstarch.
  • Guar gum is used in paper manufacturing, textiles, printing, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, oil drilling, mining and explosives as follows.
  • In cosmetics industry it is used as thickener in toothpastes, Conditioner in shampoos.
  • In food industry Guar gum is used as Gelling, viscosifying, thickening, clouding, and binding agent. It is also used for stabilization, emulsification, preservation, water retention, enhancement of water soluble fiber content etc.
  • In pharmaceutical industry it is used as binder in tablets.
  • Guar gum is also consumed as a dietary fiber.
  • In textile industry Guar gum is used in sizing, finishing and printing.
  • In paper industry it is used to improved sheet formation, folding and denser surface for printing.
  • In explosives Industry Guar gum is used as waterproofing agent mixed with ammonium nitrate, nitroglycerin etc.
  • In oil and gas drilling it is used as well fracturing

General Properties

  • White to Cream Coloured powder.
  • Extracted from the endosperm of Guar seeds, “Cyamposis Tetragonalobus”.
  • Hot and cold water soluble Galactomanan Polysaccharide. Beta 1,4 linear mannose backbone chain with a single galactose side unit on approximately (average) every alternate mannose unit in an alpha 1,6 linkage.

Exhibits high viscosity at low concentration in water, Non- Newtonian, pseudo-plastic (shear thinning) rheology. Viscosities increase exponentially with increasing concentration in water.
