Passion fruit is a semi-acid fruit, is a member of the Passiflora and it’s original from Amazon region. It has a round shape and diameter between 4 to 8 cm and 55 g average weight. The skin is leathery and purple, contains a yellow, jelly pulp with scattering of black edible seeds.
It's also known as Purple Maracuya or Gulupa.
