How Long Will Pope Pastures Farm Eggs Keep?

Pope Pastures Farm's eggs are collected daily and we date them the day they're laid.
We keep our eggs available for about 2 weeks. Although, I am sure that they would last much longer.
For us, it is just a matter of offering our families the freshest eggs possible!

Many egg producers (grocery store eggs) do not put the expiration date on the carton until after the
eggs been shipped, candled, and graded. That can add 30 days to the age of the egg, which will not
be reflected in it's shelf date. Most producers sell 30 to 50 day old eggs, and have an
expiration date marked six weeks after that.

If you would like to arrange pick-up or drop off, please see our page
