TequilaS DEL SEÑOR, S. A. DE C. V., is a mid-size 100% Mexican, fourth generation family company located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MEXICO. It is mainly in the business of producing, and exporting tequila and TEQUILA-based products.
When it was founded in 1943, the company began to export its products to the United States that continues to be the tequila industry’s major market. Tequilas del Señor , S.A. de C.V. also presently exports to more than 52 other countries and continues to work on expanding its worldwide distribution network.
The company has its own ranches where it grows its raw product BLUE AGAVE of the WEBER TEQUILA variety, the only variety allowed by Official Mexican Standard NOM.006-SCFI-2005 for making tequila.
Tequilas del Señor, S.A. de C.V. has a production capacity for 6,000,000 liters of tequila a year. 95% of its current production is exported to the international market while 5% is marketed locally.

It has won more than 60 awards and recognitions by both domestic and international organizations, such as the SAN FRANCISCO WORLD SPIRITS COMPETITION (United States), PRODEXPO (Russia), INTERNATIONAL TASTE & QUALITY INSTITUTE (Brussels), beverage TESTING INSTITUTE (United States), ACADEMIA MEXICANA DE CATADORES DE TEQUILA and LA ACADEMIA MEXICANA DEL TEQUILA A.C. (Mexico), VIN & AVEC (Sweden), and the AGAVE SPIRITS CHALLENGE (United States), just to name a few.
Some of the most important certifications the company has earned are HACCP guaranteeing product safety, and KOSHER – meaning “apt” or appropriate – in reference to food quality control according to the Jewish standard known as Kosher.
TEQUILAS DEL SEÑOR, S.A. de C.V. has received other awards over the years such as “EL GALARDÓN JALISCO A LA EXPORTACIÓN (NOVEMBER 2003)”, a very special recognition by the State Government of Jalisco to the most outstanding exporters in the State, and the “MEDALLA AL MÉRITO EXPORTADOR (NOVEMBER 2009)” that COMCE de Occidente, A.C. awarded for the brilliant lifetime achievements of our current CEO.
