Yellow Millet is Cereals produced from grains of millet. Millet plant is a one-year corn plant of cereal family.
Yellow Millet is characterized by good digestion and calorie content. Use of millet prevents deposition of fat and has a positive impact on the work of the cardiovascular system and liver. Millet contains essential amino acids and normalizes blood pressure, gives strength, improves skin and strengthens the muscle system.
Food quality of millet is determined primarily by a high content of starch (70%). Protein substances in millet - 12-15%, and they include all the essential amino acids. Millet is high in fat (2,6% -3,7%). Cellulose in it - 0,5 - 0,8% ash: - 1,0 -1,4%, there is a small amount of sugar (up to 2%) presented by raffinose, maltose, sucrose and glucose. It is rich* in phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. According to the content of vitamins millet occupies a middle position: Vitamin B1 - 4 mg / kg, vitamin B2 - 0,5 - 1 mg / kg, vitamin PP - 10-12 mg /kg.
