1. Description of  Yellow Onion : 

Origin:

March to May:Yunnan

May to July :Jiangsu

July to September:Shandong 

September to Next March:Gansu

 

Nice skin color,be excellent in ball shape

without roots and soil, natural hue, moderate size, no crack

 

  2. Physical Description:

 

Size:  5-7cm,7-8cm,8-9cm,9cm up  .

Col o r: minimum 9 9 %  onion  of fine regular  yellow   color.

Taste and flavour: typical, sound, ripe onion   without any off-taste.

Broken-damaged squashed and misshapen fruits: Max  1-2piece/bag or carton

 

3.Storage:

5. Packaging:
(1) Pack size:  10kg/20kg mesh bag or carton 

(2)  Pack type: 

Mesh bag:quality standard ,with logo or not 

Carton: Corrugated export standard outer case, no nails, flaps are to be sealed with self adhesive freezer stable tape, the cartons is waterproof, new polythene food grade liner.
(3) Logo/ Labeling: Normal one includes: Product Description, Country of Origin, Weight, Product Date(dd-mm-yy), Best Before date.

 

6. Storage and shelf life conditions:

Products must be kept at a temperature of  0~+1degeree  to maintain it's required condition and attain a shelf life of  3-4  months in  storage rooms
