Our HONEY are collected from domestic bee colonies of high Himalaya.

Our honey are collected from domestic bee colonies of high Himalaya. We make every effort to ensure that the bee products reach you at their Organic best. organic honey is extracted by the 'cold press'method without the use of heat. This helps preserve the pollen and the enzymes that occur naturally in honey. We also collects from the wild bee colonies Apis Laboriosa, Apis dorsata and Apis cerana found in the isolated forest in Himalayan mountains of Nepal. The Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal is a country which possesses one of the world's highest concentration and distribution of bio-diversity including the highest floral and fauna habitat of the world. Nepals Tropical Deciduous Monsoon Forest, Subtropical Mixed Evergreen Forest, Temperate Evergreen Forest and Sub alpine and Alpine Zone all these forests are the great store of natural resources. From these enormous natural resources, local farmers have been raising bees for generations. Twice a year in Nepals Himalayan foothill, teams of men gather around cliffs that are home to the world's largest honeybee, Apis Laboriosa. As they have for generations, the men come to harvest the Himalayan cliff bee's honey. Furthermore, in the Nepals Himalayan region, the farmers keep bees in log hives in their backyard gardens. These bees keep on coming and going. In the special season, not forgetting to follow the ritual, farmers harvest wax and honey for their livelihoods, and at the same time, bees provide the services of pollination to the mountain farming systems and mountain crops. There are two goals: to preserve the bees which are essential to the local ecosystem and also, to help farmers cultivate better bee colonies that yield more honey. The world's largest honey bee, Apis Laboriosa (the giant Himalayan honey bee) is a wild bee and makes it combs on high branches of trees and cliff over hangs. The honey hunters are a tribe of Mongol in central Nepal who follow the tradition of honey hunting, a tradition passed down since generations. The bees are drive away from the honeycomb by smoke. After this, a portion of the brood comb is sometimes cut off. The honey portion of the hive is brought down in baskets. People waiting near the foot of the trees, squeeze honey from the comb into earthen pots. The demand of Nepali honey is increasing in international market but due to lack of European Union Standard Residues Monitoring Regulation the export of Nepali honey to European market has been forbidden. Theyve put forward different conditions such as standardization of quality control measures, provision of European standard certification technology and enhancement
