Glycerine

Glycerol is a chemical compound also commonly called glycerin or glycerine . It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid. n foods andbeverages, glycerol serves as a humectant, solvent and sweetener, and may helppreserve foods. It is also used as filler in commercially prepared low-fatfoods (e.g., cookies), and as a thickening agent in liqueurs.

Glycerine offered by us is aclear, colorless, viscous liquid that finds application in industries likepharmaceuticals, toothpaste, tobacco, alkyd resin, chewing gum, soap, cosmeticsand food.

Our process expertise also allow us to deliver these in specifications asdesired by the clients.

Propylene Glycol

Propyleneglycol, known also by the systematic namepropane-1,2-diol, is an organic compound (a diol alcohol), usually a faintlysweet, and colorless clear viscous liquid that is hygroscopic and miscible withwater, acetone, and chloroform.

Weoffer superior quality propylene glycol to our clients is a tasteless, odorlessand colorless oily liquid, which is miscible with water, acetone and chloroform. It is usually produced by propylene oxide hydration in industries. Some of thefeatures of the chemical include:

Used as a moisturizer in medicines, cosmetics, food, toothpaste, mouth wash, and tobacco products
Used as solvent for food colors and flavorings
As a less-toxic antifreeze
In smoke machines to make artificial smoke
In hand sanitizers, antibacterial lotions, and saline solutions
As a working fluid in hydraulic presses

Lactic Acid

We provide Lactic Acid (80 &90%) which is a colorless clarifying ropy liquid and has a sour flavor. Itcontains a hygroscopicity and optics activation property and can be dissolvedwith water, ethanol or ether, but undissolved in chloroform.

Lactic acid isprimarily found in sour milk products, such as: koumiss, leban, yogurt, kefir, and some cottage cheeses. The casein in fermented milk is coagulated (curdled)by lactic acid.

Although it can befermented from lactose (milk sugar), most commercially used lactic acid isderived by using bacteria such as Streptococcus thermophilus , Lactobacillusacidophilus , or Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus toferment carbohydrates from nondairy sources such as cornstarch, potatoes, andmolasses. Thus, although it is commonly known as "milk acid", vegan productscan contain lactic acid as an ingredient.

Lactic acid mayalso be found in various processed foods, usually either as a pH-adjustingingredient, or as a preservative. It may also be used as a fermentation boosterin rye and sourdough breads.
