Huperzine A is a plant alkaloid derived from the Huperzia serrata. Huperzine A is an Acetylcholinesterase inhibitor similar to other compounds donepezil, rivastigmine, and galantamine. It is the treatment of senile dementia specific drug that can improve memory.
