Bolletje Indian Nan bread is a flat, but light bread. Nan bread finds its roots in India, where it is baked in a clay oven known as a tandoor. The bread can be used instead of cutlery and a plate to eat with. In the Netherlands, Nan is used in various ways. The original way is as a kind of dip for meals with rice, but it is also great with dinner, delicious with soup or wonderful in the evening with drinks and dips. Nan bread can also be topped in any way you like and eaten as a variety of spicy bread. Bolletje Nan bread is available in two flavours: garlic coriander and spicy tomato. The bread is packed in a vacuum-packed wrapper and must be baked before eating in a toaster, grill or (for three or four minutes at 180°C) in the oven.
