Applications of proline:
1. For biochemical research, used in medicine for malnutrition, protein deficiency, gastrointestinal diseases, burns and post-operative protein supplementation.
2. Nutritional supplements. A flavoring agent that reacts with a sugar to form an amino-carbonyl reaction to form a special aroma. According to China's GB 2760-86 regulations can be used as a spice.
