Arat Co.'s Chopped dates are made from Sayer Dates
Irans annual production: Approximately 7,000 tons
Southern Khorasan province has largest amount of Barberries production with 6642 Hectares of Barberries gardens and 98.7% of Irans total production.
In average each Hectare of Barberries produces 1380 Kg dried Barberry.
Exportation figure: Small section of whole production is being exported mainly for Iranian communities abroad. Approximately 100 Tons per year.
Generally Barberry product is natural product and it is rarely being fertilized with chemical fertilizers or fumigants.
Previously this product was cultivated by dry farming. However, in years of drought the plants are being irrigated manually. In general, the plant just needs a normal recision during the year.
