All too often the King Cakes you buy are nothing more than one big sweet roll. The old-world King Cake was a rich buttery brioche which we duplicated with this mix. We also include a recipe to make it in a bread machine (really makes it easy). I make them year round and decorate in different color sugars for whatever the season. Kit comes complete with baby, icing mix and purple, green, and gold sugars.
