Kishu is famous because Kishu has mild climate, stable temperature, pure water and naturally rich soil where provides the best environment for Umeboshi (pickled plum). When the plums grow up, they require calcium. As a result, Kishu Umeboshi is very rich and fresh in taste and juicy. Grade A Kishu Pickled Plum is around 3.5cm in diameter, and weight is 16g to 18g per each thus there are only 4-6 plums in a pot.
Directions of use:
1.Eat with green tea
2.Eat with Ozhazuke (rice cracker)
3.Put it inside Onigiri (Rice Ball)
