It is prepared with black malt starter called KURO KOJI. This Shochu's name "KURO" is named after this KURO KOJI. By using KURO KOJI, this Shochu has mild sweetness and excellent sweet potato aroma with smooth finish. KURO SHIRANAMI's main ingredient is top grade Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes from south Kagoshima, Japan. We only use never frozen, fresh sweet potatoes. All ingredients are natural and made in Japan . KURO SHIRANAMI has stong name brand and the top grade quality. It is distilled by normal pressure single distillation method, so it retains the flavor and aroma of sweet potatoes. Our Shochu master brewer "TOJI" is from KUROSE city in Kagoshima, Japan that is known as the birthplace of Shochu TOJI. KUROSE TOJI is the professional Shochu master brewer specializes in KURO KOJI. This Shochu is a master piece of our TOJI.
