Very limited excellent Port wine vintage 1952, 1967 --- 1997, 1999, 2003 etc. They are originally made from Douro, Portugal.
Very Limited Excellent Quality Port Wine originally made, bottled, and exported from world famous wine planting region, Douro, Portugal.
We are Golden White with vintage 1952 and 1967; and normal port with vintage 1997, 1999, 2003 etc.
Our COLHEITA Ports are superior quality wines from a singlez year that are aged in wood during varying periods of time, but never less than 7 years before bottling.
Whilst they age in cask, the young, fruity, and fresh aromas undergo changes through oxidation and give way to a bouquet in which the foremost aromas are of dried fruits, roasting, wood and spices. As they age, they improve in smoothness, balance, their bouquet becomes more complex, and their colour changes towards the golden. The oldest wines may even have green nuance.
Our Porto Colheita 1952 Golden White is known as the ONLY White Colheita among the Port producers. It is with very intense nose, lightly smoky with sweet citrus, tobacco and Walnuts on the palate, really rich and complex with a superb grip and intense aftertaste, layers and layers of Flavours keeps lingering, utterly delicious.
It has won below remarkable international medals:
-- Silver Medal & Best in Class - International Wine and Spirits Competition, London 2009
-- Gold Medal - Iberwine, Madrid 2005
-- Silver Medal - International Wine Challenge, London 2003
-- Gold Medal - Bacchus, Madrid 2002
-- Great Gold Medal - II International Wine Contest ' City of Oporto', 2002
