We pick our gourmet Jiaogulan tea when the growth is still young and tender. We harvest monthly. Since Jiaogulan is a small vine or ground cover we're able to grow it in green houses using sustainable agriculture. We immediately pan dry the leaves to stop the oxidation process. We hand roll the leaves in clusters to help preserve the whole leaves during final drying. The result is whole leaves that open beautifully in your cup, unprecedented freshness and taste that has tea connoisseurs talking. Our Jiaogulan was awarded the prize for best tasting tea by the Thai Ministry of Agriculture. It has a slightly sweet flavor with Spice in the overtones. We grow ours organically and pesticide free in the highlands of Thailand and ship fresh to your door.
