Lucania is one of the south-italian regions more attached to the authentic values of the rural culture, made of both rural celebrations and habits. The geographic isolation, stopped only few decades ago, allowed to jealously guard its emblematic landscape built in times, thanks to the hard work in the fields , as well. A rich vegetation marks the mountain ridges: everywhere there is a spring, a stream, a sheet of water able to give life to the territory.
