Its pulp is soft texture flour very pleasant aroma of brown-yellow-orange.
This fruit can be consumed in its fresh or processed either as flour or pulp. However, flour lucuma, has increased use in the food industry as an input for the preparation of ice cream, beverages, yogurt, various desserts and even flavoring food.
The lucuma has a high nutritional value and is a great source of carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals; ( Retinol, iron, calcium, B-complex, Acid ascorbic )
