The “MAKOSSA” Banana is the premium grade of the CDC bananas. The other grades include the “SAWA” and the “TIKO” Banana all produced for the export market.
CDC produces averagely between 90,000 and 110,000 tons of banana annually.
CDC also benefits from the Banana Accompanying Measures (BAM) grants of the European Union.
