Product description
These products are prepared using fresh ripened fruits. After pealing and treating them with SO2 + calcium, corn syrup and sugar are added. Lastly they are dehydrated using hot air.
Uses
As a snack it is consumed with other fruits and nuts, also for use in pastry, cereals, cakes, chocolate, ice cream and yogurts. It is widely used as a topping for food decorations.
Shelf life
12 months if kept in a dry and cool place.
Packaging
Various cardboard boxes of 10 to 20 kilos containing different sizes of plastic bags.
