“ Vi de Guarda” is a wine that has spent a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels. A coupage is then carried out in the barrel, seeking the best percentages for the favourable evolution of the wine once it has been bottled. Depending on the year, it is estimated that an ascending evolution can last for around five years. The ageing in the barrel and the bottle, defines the concept of “Vi de Guarda”, wine to keep as its organoleptic qualities improve.
